With every fishing trip comes the preparation of what items you need to survive out on the water which could be anything from food and water to sun block and an emergency radio to call the coast guard. There have been many times where people forget to pack their sun hats or their lucky fishing cap and then come home at the end of the day looking like a lobster. Yes, you can wear sunblock which will help out a ton against the sun but wearing a fishing hat will not only block the sun from burning a hole in your face but it will also take the glare away from the sun hitting the water. Any type of fishing caps will do the job but make sure that the fishing hats provide you a lot of protection from the sun. Some people like to have special fishing hats that bring them added luck for when they go out fishing with their buddies. Another good point about fishing hats that you should be aware of. Fishing caps are very nice and comfortable but be careful when wearing them and your are flying on the water. The reason is because the wind will blow that fishing cap right off of your head and you will have to turn around and go looking for it. I have lost many fishing caps in my lifetime so I know how it feel to loose lucky fishing caps.
