Whenever you plan for your fishing trip there must be certain things that need to be looked into. There are many different ways to plan for that perfect fishing trip but you need to make sure that you plan for the unexpected along with the normal items that you need to make your next fishing trip more enjoyable. We are going to give you some examples of what items you need to make your next fishing trip that much more fun and safer.

The first thing you will need to have ready is a good supply of water and food. Always make sure to have a cooler full of ice and more than enough water on board. What we usually do is go to Target or Wallmart and buy a 36 pack of water bottles and freeze half of them over night before we put them in the cooler. We usually make some sandwiches and pack some chicken wings in the cooler and have a couple bags of chips for snacks. There can never be enough food and water on any fishing trip.

Next you will need to protect yourself from the rays of the sun. Always have sunblock on board to help prevent you from burning up in the sun. Sunblock works great but I also wear my lucky fishing hat that provides me with even more protection from the sun. Next you will want to make sure that you have a raincoat packed away somewhere just in case you get stuck in one of those afternoon rain showers.

One of the most important things you cant forget on your fishing trip is the fishing accessories and fishing gear. World Wide Sportsman Keys Convertible Hat You don't want to get out on the water just to find out you forgot the tackle box or the bait. This has happened to us in the past and you will spend half the day driving back to the docks and having to go and get your fishing supplies.

At any given time there could be burst of excitement when you run into a school of fish. You could be bringing fish into the boat and the whole inside of the boat could be getting spattered with the blood of the fish. This happens every time we go fishing and I end up getting blood all over my Guy Harvey fishing shirts. It happens but  if we are catching fish I don't mind because it is well worth it.

As you can see, the sport of fishing can be very fun and a lot of memories can be made. If you plan it right and have all the fishing supplies needed to make your day on the water more enjoyable you will want to go fishing anytime that you can. Always make sure to have enough food and drink on the boat because you never know when you could be stuck out on the water and have to wait for the coast guard to find you. Plan for the worst possible scenario when it comes to food and water and your trip will have no problems what so ever.
